Four Reasons Why I Am Making Health A Bigger Priority In My Life.

For the last month, I have reevaluated my health.  I have watched two documenaries on Netflix that have had a profound impact on me.  The documentaries are “What The Health” and “Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead”.  Both documentaries have given me a wake up call on my health, where it currently is, and where I need to be.

The four reasons for why I have decided to improve my health are:

  1. It gives more energy and vitality, especially throughout the day.
  2. It improves mood swings drastically.  With the body free up of the stress of constantly digesting processed and concentrated foods, it will feel lighter.
  3. It gives more time of the day and requires fewer hours of sleep.
  4. It will add 20 more years of your life and reduce the costs drastically of doctor bills and medication.

For energy, I will be able to work on my business and will able to serve my clients on a higer and much more efficent level.  I will also be able to get through the day with vitality, joy, and ease with less stress.  More energy also makes us more productive.

Mood swings of course will enhance the relationships with our significant other, family, friends, colleagues, clients, and even people we just came across.  By having less of a mood swing, one will have much more influence as well.

For me having more time of the day is knowing I can get my day off on the right foot.  I can have my mornings to spend time doing my morning ritual where I can thank my creator for giving me the gift of life.  I can spend that time getting my workout and meditation.  For others, it could be staying up an extra hour either spending time with their loved ones, friends, or watching a tv program such as the late night talk show.

Lastly, I am not a doctor nor a nutrionist.  Yet, there are plenty of resources around us to know that eating healthy will not only add years on our lives on a quantity perspective, but also on a quantity perspective.

I hope you will join me on this journey to living a healthy lifestyle of great balance of nutrition, wellness, and exercise.

I would love to hear from you on what your health rituals are.
